The present invention relates to an activated carbon adsorbent for removing acidic gas, composed of iron-zinc composite metal oxide, activated carbon powder, and silicate. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for producing the activated carbon adsorbent for removing acidic gas, comprising the following steps: (a) heating and mixing a solution consisting of a ferric salt, a zinc salt, a first basic metal compound, and water so as to produce the iron-zinc composite metal oxide; (b) producing an activated carbon powder mixture containing the activated carbon powder and the silicate; and (c) mixing the iron-zinc composite metal oxide and the activated carbon powder mixture together so as to produce the activated carbon adsorbent for removing acidic gas.
