The present invention relates to an activated carbon adsorbent for acidic gas removal including iron-zinc complex metal oxides, powdered activated carbon and silicates. In addition, provided is a method for producing the iron-zinc complex metal oxide, which comprises the following steps: a) heating and mixing a solution containing an iron salt, a zinc salt, a first basic metal compound and water to manufacture the iron-zinc complex metal oxide; b) manufacturing a powdered activated carbon mixture including the powdered activated carbon and silicates; and c) mixing the iron-zinc complex metal oxide and the powdered activated carbon mixture to manufacture the activated carbon adsorbent for acidic gas removal. The chemical adsorption force and the physical adsorption force can be maximally improved, and at the same time, the adsorption power of acid gas can be improved even in an environment in which the temperature of exhaust gas is high or space velocity is high.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
