摘要
A golf course maintenance system and method comprising inputting a golf course and its shape, size and parameters within a system such as a computer. The course is divided into teeing ground, fairway, at least one rough area, water hazard, bunker, and putting green. Each of these components of the hole and course is calculated as the surface area of square feet or square yards. Each of these components is calculated for maintenance purposes based on cost components for maintenance, ie, labor and the cost and quantity of consumables such as fuel, energy, water, chemicals, fertilizer. The course staff can enter the approximate composition, length, width, and location of the teeing ground, fairway, rough, water hazard, bunker, and putting green within the CPU connected to the display screen. Each of these course components is then associated with a series of processes for maintaining them, each of which is associated with a consumable resource, such as cost factors, such as labor, fuel and water. The course staff may consider modification of the hall (s) and course components of the course, and the CPU computes and displays the costs due to the change of the boundaries of the course components and the resource savings consumed. In addition, the considered correction (s) must take into account the frequency with which a player''s shot falls or lies within the various locations of the course component as a group of players are tracked on the actual golf course, To the CPU and / or the course staff or other users of the system.
