The present invention relates to Dendronephthya gigantea-originated genes which are responsive to changes in the acidity of seawater, and to a method of diagnosing marine ecosystem by using the same. Specifically, a particular gene cluster originated from Dendronephthya gigantea, which exhibits specific expression changes in response to changes in ocean acidification, may be beneficially used as a biomarker which is a microarray or a kit capable of confirming exposure to the seawater acidified due to changes in the acidity of seawater.
