Disclosed is a general-purpose camera control device, which enables a user to freely use various non-broadcasting cameras as broadcasting cameras by providing compatibility to the non-broadcasting cameras regardless of manufacturer and operation system (OS). To achieve this purpose, the general-purpose camera control device of the present invention comprises: a communication unit connected to a camera controller and the non-broadcasting camera; a storage unit in which a brand control signal matched with a standard control signal is stored in accordance with brands; a brand detection unit detecting a brand of the non-broadcasting camera connected to the communication unit; a control signal conversion unit converting the standard control signal into the brand control signal through the storage unit; and a control unit providing the standard control signal, which is transmitted from a camera controller to the communication unit, to the control signal conversion unit and transmitting the brand control signal converted by the control signal conversion unit to the non-broadcasting camera through the communication unit. According to the present invention, compatibility is provided to non-broadcasting cameras having different manufacturers and operating systems (OS), and thus the non-broadcasting cameras of various brands can be freely used as broadcasting cameras, and setting values of the non-broadcasting cameras of various brands can be controlled in a remote place.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
