The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating osteoporosis comprising aloe-emodin and omega-3 fatty acid as active ingredients. The aloe-emodin and omega-3 fatty acid according to the present invention not only inhibit differentiation of osteoclasts in coadministration but promotes differentiation of osteoblast, thereby increasing osteogenesis and reducing osteolysis. Accordingly, the aloe-emodin and omega-3 fatty acid are effective in reliving osteoporosis symptoms, thereby being usefully used as medicines which are safe and effective for preventing or treating osteoporosis.
