SYSTEM METHOD AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM FOR PROVIDING INTELLIGENT SERVICE USING CONTEXT AWARENESS IN IoT ENVIRONMENT

The present invention relates to a context cognition system for providing an intelligent service in an internet of things (IoT) environment. The context cognition system includes: multiple IoT devices individually including at least one sensor and one communication unit; a gateway forming an IoT network layer by being connected to the multiple IoT devices and including at least one gateway device connected to an internet network; and a cloud server layer transmitting and receiving data with the multiple IoT devices of the IoT network layer through the gateway and the internet network. At least one IoT device determined not to handle a context cognition process in real time among the multiple IoT devices generates context information which is an essential element of the context cognition process and transmits the generated context information to a context cognition server of the cloud server layer. The context cognition server generates context cognition result information which is result data by executing the context cognition process of the IoT device transmitting the context information and transmits the generated context cognition result information to the IoT device transmitting the context information again. The context cognition server also supports the IoT device receiving the context cognition result information to perform at least one motion corresponding to the context cognition result information received.
