In the present invention, disclosed are a method for supporting a web socket when a web server and a web application server (WAS) are interworked, a server, and a WAS, which are in the field of a network technology. The method for supporting a web socket of the present invention comprises the steps of: processing, by a web server, a request message to a web socket message to transmit the same to a specific worker thread of a WAS through a predetermined internal protocol by using a specific connection among a plurality of connections set by a reverse connection for interworking the web server and the WAS when the request message is acquired from at least one client after a web socket upgrade is completed, wherein the reverse connection is a connection by a method in which a connection relation is set by requesting for the web server by the WAS; and receiving, by the web server, a response message for the request message from the specific worker thread using the specific connection.
