The present invention relates to a DNA aptamer specifically binding to botulinum neurotoxin type C protein (Botulinum neurotoxin type C1, BoNT / C1) and its use. The DNA aptamer that specifically binds to the BoNT / C1 protein of the present invention can be used for early diagnosis and prognosis determination of botulism type C by detecting the BoNT / C1 protein in the botulism type C-bearing sample.
