A method and a system for evaluating clinical validity of an artificial intelligence-based medical device are disclosed. The method for evaluating clinical validity comprises the steps of: obtaining average diagnostic consistency among first specialists including a plurality of specialists from a clinical diagnostic result of the plurality of specialists on a specific disease; obtaining clinical diagnostic consistency between a diagnostic result of an artificial intelligence-based medical device used for a clinical test and a diagnostic result of a specialist participating in the clinical test; and comparing the average diagnostic consistency with the clinical diagnostic consistency.
