The present invention relates to an apparatus for modeling a construction site using structural stability analysis of a mat foundation steel structure and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the method for modeling the construction site comprises the steps of: receiving a type of shape steel forming vertical members and horizontal members of the mat foundation steel structure, physical data including cross-sectional secondary moment, unit weight and cross-sectional area, fixated load and work load of the construction site, the width of the mat foundation and the length of the vertical members; determining structural stability of the vertical members by using the physical data of the vertical members and the length of the vertical members; calculating the number of the vertical members by using the fixated load and the work load according to the structural stability determination result of the vertical members; determining the structural stability of the horizontal members by using the calculated number of the vertical members, the physical data of the horizontal members and the width of the mat foundation; calculating the length of the horizontal members according to the structural stability determination result of the horizontal members; and modelling the mat foundation steel structure by using the calculated number of the vertical members and the length of the horizontal members. The present invention can definitely determine stability of the mat foundation steel structure even without depending on experience of building experts, thereby enhancing stability in the construction site.
