The present invention relates to a bacillus subtilis SCGB 159 strain. The strain has antioxidant activity, lipase inhibition activity, and antimicrobial activity, and secrets protease and amylase without the production of biogenic amine, and thus, a composition for improving obesity and resisting harmful microorganisms, which contains the strain or a culture solution thereof, is able to be applied to food, food additives, feed additives, or medicinal materials. More specifically, as the bacillus subtilis SCGB 159 strain suppresses the growth of harmful microorganisms without secreting biogenic amine during the formation of paste, the strain brings a safe paste food production effect without making toxicity, and thus, the strain is able to be used helpfully for industrial fields.
