The present invention provides a smart linkage device for standard and non-standard power line communication (PLC) network interworking, which can mutually interwork heterogeneous advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) networks using a standard PLC chip and a non-standard PLC chip. The smart linkage device for standard and non-standard PLC network interworking attaches and links to an existing data concentration unit (DCU) collecting meter reading data through a non-standard PLC network, transmits the meter reading data to a top AMI server, and collects, stores and transmits the meter reading data through a standard PLC network separately from collection and transmission of the meter reading data.
