The present invention provides an ethyl acetate fraction or a butanol fraction isolated from a Loranthus tanakae extract; and an antioxidant or whitening cosmetic composition comprising active materials isolated therefrom. The composition comprising a specific solvent fraction or the active materials isolated therefrom exhibits excellent antioxidant and whitening activity and can be usefully used as a cosmetic composition for antioxidant or whitening use.
