The present invention relates to a tool post apparatus of a turning center. According to the present invention, the tool post apparatus of the turning center comprises: a saddle which is able to slide on a bed in a first direction; a first slide which is able to slide on the saddle in a second direction at right angles to the first direction; a second slide which is able to slide on the first slide in a third direction at right angles to the first and the second directions; a tool post installed on one side of the second slide to be able to move on a top side of the first slide together with the second slide, on which a plurality of tools are mounted; and a tool post support unit installed on the first slide to have one or more support shafts which are able to move forward and backward and to move forward when the tool post is at a preset height on the top side of the first slide and to compress and support one or more side surfaces of the tool post. The present invention provides the tool post apparatus which is able to improve the shaft strength in a Y-axis turning center.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
