CO2 METHODS FOR CONVERSION OF CO2 INTO SYNGAS

A method for producing syngas is provided. An exemplary method may include the hydrogenation of carbon dioxide (CO ₂ ) through a reverse water gas shift (RWGS) reaction. Cu and / or Mn may be used, and the RWGS reaction may be carried out at a temperature of 600 or higher. The syngas produced from the hydrogenation of CO ₂ can be used to produce light olefins through a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FT) reaction.
