The present invention relates to a composition for identifying testicular cells of a mammalian animal, comprising VASA antibodies as effective components. The composition for identifying mammalian testicular cells according to the present invention allows the developmental stages of testicular cells, which was confirmed by means of a morphological observation conventionally, to be identified in a simple and accurate manner by specifically identifying A_s spermatogonia, A_pr spermatogonia, A_al spermatogonia, A_1 spermatogonia, A_2 spermatogonia, A_3 spermatogonia, B_1 spermatogonia, B_2 spermatogonia, primary spermatocyte, secondary spermatocyte, or round spermatid. Accordingly, the composition of the present invention may be beneficially used in breeding a mammalian animal.
