The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating soft-tissue sarcoma comprising epicatechin. The composition controls activity of MyoD which is a muscle transcription factor to induce differentiation of myoblast to myotube, to induce differentiation of fibroblast to myoblast or to differentiate rhabdomyosarcoma cells to myoblast again.
