Provided are a hybrid power generation system to optimize output power by using a charging/discharging function and real-time control, and a method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a hybrid generation floating body comprises: a wind power generator; a tidal power generator; a charger charged by electricity generated by the wind and tidal power generators, and discharging the charged electricity; and a power control system controlling and processing a generation amount of the wind and tidal power generators to response to a remote monitoring system in real-time. Accordingly, power waste and a power supply failure of a power system caused from improper power control, which is generated as the generation amount of a tidal-offshore wind power hybrid power generation floating body is not responded to the remote monitoring system in time, are able to be prevented.
