A high-pressure diaphragm compressor (1) for pressurizing a gaseous fluid to a pressure of at least 10 MPa, the compressor (1) comprising a compressor head (2) having an oblong shaped chamber (3). A hydrogen refueling station including such a compressor is also disclosed.
