Provided are an organic light emitting display apparatus and a processing method for a dark spot of the same which can improve a defect rate by compensating a luminance loss due to a defective subpixel by using adjacent subpixels. According to the present invention, the organic light emitting display apparatus comprises: a display panel for having a plurality of pixels each composed of a first color subpixel, a second color subpixel, a third color subpixel, and a fourth color subpixel; a sensing unit connected to the pixels by a plurality of sensing lines, and outputting a sensing value by sensing electrical characteristics on the subpixels; an error detection unit for finding a defective subpixel which becomes a dark spot by analyzing the sensing value, and finding an error coordinate of the defective subpixel; and a luminance arithmetic operation unit for up-modulating input video data which are recorded in a compensation coordinate by a luminance loss share after determining the compensation coordinate to compensate a luminance loss due to the dark spot based on the error coordinate and calculating the luminance loss share which is compensated at each of the compensation coordinates.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
