A body type analyzing server for analyzing a body shape of a user includes a receiving unit for receiving a body image from a user terminal, a body area detecting unit for detecting a body area of a user from the body image, an extracting unit for extracting a plurality of feature points from the body area of the user which is detected, and a body type determining unit for determining the body type of the user based on a distance from the center of gravity of the body area of the user to the plurality of feature points.
