The present invention provides an electro-magnetic interference (EMI) filter and a method for reducing EMI using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the EMI reducing filter, which is connected to a target device generating EMI, comprises: a first detection part detecting the EMI generated from the target device on one side of the EMI filter; a second detection part detecting the EMI reduced by the EMI filter on the other side of the EMI filter; and a noise reduction part positioned between the first detection part and second detection part, outputting the first reverse EMI having a phase opposite to the EMI phase detected by the first detection part to offset the EMI, and correcting an error generated in the process of offsetting the EMI based on the EMI detected by the second detection part. The EMI filter has superior performance in reducing EMI.
