The present invention provides a composition for exterminating borer which contains mustard oil as an effective component, and has an excellent effect which can be applied not only to harmful insects in the forest but also to harmful insects on various forest industry processing fields such as fruit trees and wood processed goods. An insecticidal composition for exterminating Japanese pine sawyer of the present invention is mixed with a sticky liquid carrier so as to contain at least 5 wt% of any one of oils selected from mustard oil or horseradish oil.
