The present invention relates to a method for constructing an electromagnetic pulse shielding facility in a protection room and an electromagnetic pulse shielding facility thereof. The method comprises the following steps of: performing surface treatment to allow a wall surface of a wall to have surface roughness which is predesignated first roughness or higher; attaching a first metallic plate to a surrounding portion of a ventilation hole; attaching a second metallic plate to a surrounding portion of a waveguide insertion hole; continuously forming electric arc spraying metallic shielding layers in the first plate, the second plate and surrounding portions thereof; attaching a metallic air conditioning duct onto a first electromagnetic wave blocking gasket; and closely attaching one protrusion portion of a waveguide to a second electromagnetic wave blocking gasket.
