The present invention discloses a database encoding device capable of automating encoding scheduling optimized for a large database, and an operating method thereof. The database encoding device and an operating method thereof provide an automatic database encoding scheduling method which divides a plurality of data tables stored in a database into a master table and a slave table, distributes and applies the data tables divided into the master table into a plurality of encoding processing nodes, performs encoding processing in parallel, distributes and applies the data tables divided into the slave table into the plurality of encoding processing nodes, performs encoding processing in parallel, and intactly uses data encoded in the master table when the data tables divided into the slave table are encoded. Therefore, the database encoding device and the operating method thereof are able to improve an encoding processing speed of a large database and, at the same time, are able to provide manager convenience by remove encoding scheduling work directly performed by a manager.
