The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of an IPN material with a copolymer of vinylamine-vinylformamide and a copolymer of vinylamine-vinyl-formamide, comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of acrylamide or derivatives thereof, acrylic acid or derivatives thereof, (IPN) material comprising a homopolymer or copolymer of a monomer of the species.
