Embodiments of the present invention relate to a device for managing an emergency based on location, posture, motion information and electromyography (EMG) information and a method for managing the same. The device for managing an emergency based on location, posture, motion information and EMG information comprises: a monitoring part checking a user state based on location, posture, motion information and EMG information of a user received through a communication part; an emergency guide information generating part generating emergency guide information when the user state estimated through the location, posture, motion information or the EMG information of the user deviates a predetermined range; and an emergency managing part providing the generated emergency guide information to the user or a manager. Detection of the user state can be more accurately identified in real time by using the location, posture, motion information and the EMG information.
