PAPR Method for determining reserved tones and transmitter for performing PAPR reduction using tone reservation

A reserved tone designing method is disclosed. According to the present invention, the reserved tone designing method comprises the following steps of: randomly selecting indexes of a reserved tone and generating a kernel signal based on the randomly selected indexes; calculating a comparison reference average value with respect to the generated kernel signal and comparing the calculated comparison reference average value with a pre-stored comparison reference average value to preliminarily rearrange the indexes of the reserved tone; randomly rearranging the order of the determined indexes of the reserved tone; and calculating a comparison reference average value while changing randomly changed indexes of the reserved tone, respectively, and finally determining indexes, of which the calculated comparison reference average value becomes minimum, as the indexes of the reserved tone.
