Disclosed is a method for designing a reserved tone. The method for designing a reserved tone comprises the steps of : randomly selecting indices of the reserved tone and generating a kernel signal based on the randomly selected indices; calculating a comparison reference average value for the generated kernel signal, comparing the calculated comparison reference average value with a previously stored comparison reference average value, and preliminarily determining the indices of the reserved tone; randomly rearranging the order of the determined reserved tone indices; and calculating a comparison reference average value while changing each of the randomly rearranged reserved tone indices, and finally determining indices with which the calculated comparison reference average value is minimum as indices of the reserved tone.
