The present invention relates to a B-pillar for a motor vehicle body and the motor vehicle body including the same. The B-pillar for a motor vehicle body according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a sheet metal forming component (2) and a fiber composite component (3). The sheet metal forming part (2) has a head part (5), a central part (6) and a base part (7). The head part (5) includes a connecting area (9) for connecting the B-pillar to a roof area of the motor vehicle body. The fiber composite component (3) has an upper part (26), a central part (21), and a lower part (19). Thus, the present invention can satisfy the requirements of a required crash scenario.
