Determination of harq-ack response codebook in a wireless communication system

An apparatus, method and system for determining a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) codebook is disclosed. An apparatus includes a processor and a memory storing code executable by the processor. In various embodiments, the code determines a set of aggregated serving cells. The code groups the aggregated serving cells into a set of cell groups. In a further embodiment, the code determines, for the uplink sub-frame, the set of sub-frames to which the corresponding HARQ-ACK will be transmitted in the uplink sub-frame. The code receives a cell-domain downlink allocation indicator and a cell-domain total allocation indicator in each downlink control information scheduling physical downlink shared channel. The code additionally determines the HARQ-ACK codebook for each combination of cell group and subframe. The apparatus may comprise a transmitter for receiving downlink control information.
