Disclosed are a parameter identifying method with respect to characteristics of a muscle, a walking assist method using the same, and devices for performing the same. According to an embodiment, the parameter identifying method with respect to characteristics of a muscle comprises the following steps of: estimating first torque of a joint based on an EMG signal; estimating second torque of the joint based on motion data; and identifying a parameter with respect to characteristics of a muscle related to the joint based on the first torque and the second torque.
