The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing or predicting of lung cancer using ROMO1. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for diagnosing or predicting of lung cancer by measuring an amount of ROMO1 protein present in a body fluid. According to the present invention, the lung cancer can be accurately and easily diagnosed and predicted from a very small amount of blood, thereby being useful for prevention and treatment of diseases. The present invention provides a kit for diagnosing and predicting the lung cancer in a suspected patient of the lung cancer or a serum sample from a diagnosis subject, which include a material capable of measuring the amount of the ROMO1 protein.
