The present invention provides an electronic device including an embedded storage device and an application processor. According to the present invention, the embedded storage device is connected to directly communicate with a detachable storage device to process a packet with a first characteristic and processes a packet with a second characteristic. The application processor is connected to directly communicate with the embedded storage device but not directly connected to the detachable storage device and processes a packet with a third characteristic. To provide the application processor with at least one of the first packet with the first characteristic received from the detachable storage device and the second packet with the second characteristic received from the embedded storage device in accordance with the third characteristic, the embedded storage device compensates for at least one of the first and second characteristics. Accordingly, provided is an effect capable of reducing design/manufacturing costs and configurational complexity of an electronic device.
