The present invention relates to a method for producing alcohol-washed rice which comprises the following steps: (A) immersing rice in alcohol and stirring the rice; (b) dewatering the rice after stirring the same with alcohol in step (a); and (c) applying hot air to the dehydrated rice of step (b) to volatilize the alcohol. The present invention also relates to the alcohol-washed rice obtained by the method. Rice with improved chewing texture and taste can be obtained through the method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
