4G 5G COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS IN 4G AND 5G COEXISTENCE SYSTEM

The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for fusing a 5G communication system supporting a higher data transfer rate than a 4G system with an IoT technology, and a system thereof. The present disclosure can be applied to intelligence type services (for example, a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car, or a connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail business, security- and safety-related services, etc.) based on a 5G communication technology and an IoT related technology. Disclosed are a device and a method for supporting a paging signal process using multi-connection in a wireless communication system. A method for processing a control signal comprises the following steps of: receiving a first control signal transmitted from a base station; processing the received first control signal; and transmitting a second control signal generated based on the process to the base station.
