One aspect of the present invention relates to a method for screening an anticancer agent, comprising: a step of contacting a cell comprising an Smad3 protein or a fragment thereof, or a nucleotide sequence encoding the same with galangin and a test substance, respectively; a step of measuring whether the Smad3 protein or fragment thereof is phosphorylated in a sample containing the cell; a step of comparing a degree of phosphorylation measured in a sample containing the galangin-contacted cells and a sample containing cells in contact with the test substance; and a step of selecting a test substance having a lower degree of phosphorylation as measured relative to the galangin-contacted cells. In addition, the present invention relates to a kit for screening anticancer substances, comprising: a cell comprising the Smad3 protein or fragment thereof, or the nucleotide sequence encoding the same; and a reagent for detecting the phosphorylation of the Smad3 protein or fragment thereof in a sample containing said cell.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
