The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer, which contains lactitol and a drug for preventing and treating gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer, thereby improving prevention and treatment effects while reducing side effects. More specifically, provided is a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating esophagitis, gastritis and peptic ulcer, comprising: 1) the drug for treating gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and 2) one selected from the group consisting of lactitol, lactitol hydrate, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of lactitol.
