The present invention relates to a silicon-graphene composite which includes silicon, and a porous graphene layer having a three-dimensional structure and formed on the silicon; and to a method of manufacturing the same. The present invention also relates to an electrode including the silicon-graphene composite, and a lithium ion battery including the electrode. The silicon-graphene composite includes graphene with an elastic three-dimensional porous structure, and thus improves electrode stability by buffering changes in the volume of silicon during charging and discharging when being applied to electrodes of a lithium ion battery.
