Multi-layer anode with Different Binder Content and Different Particle Size of Active Material in each layer and Lithium Secondary Battery Comprising the Same

The present invention relates to a multilayer cathode and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The multilayer cathode includes: a current collector which transfers electrons between an external lead and a negative active material; a first cathode compound layer which is formed on one side or both sides of the current collector and includes a first cathode active material and a first binder; and a second cathode compound layer which is formed on the first cathode compound layer and includes a second cathode active material. The electrode density of the first cathode compound layer is 0.9-2.0 g/cc and the electrode density of the second cathode compound layer is 0.2-1.7 g/cc in a range lower than the electrode density of the first cathode compound layer. The present invention can prevent degradation of battery performance.
