Provided is a solitary wave experiment water tank, comprising: a water tank including a first sidewall and a second sidewall facing the first sidewall, wherein a space in which water is stored between the first sidewall and the second sidewall is elongated in one direction; a roughing plate provided adjacent to the first sidewall in a space of the water tank and moving toward the second sidewall to generate waves in the water; a terrestrial model provided adjacent to the second sidewall in the space of the water tank and in which a wave of the water is incident; and a sash model positioned between the first sidewall and the rough plate and filling the space between the first sidewall and the rough plate in accordance with movement of the rough plate.
