The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method of forming a reconfigurable intelligent structure based on artificial intelligence (AI). The apparatus of forming a reconfigurable intelligent structure based on AI comprises: a user interface device; a driving device to individually adjust heights of a plurality of substructures; a local control device to generate a driving control command to allow the driving device to individually adjust current heights of the substructures; and a local storage device to store structure formation data including user feature information, machine learning parameter information generated in connection with formation of an intelligent structure by past user request information, and current height information of the substructures, and transfer the user feature information, the machine learning parameter information, and the current height information of the substructures to the local control device by a request of the local control device. The local control device applies user event information received from the user interface device, and the user feature information and the machine learning parameter information received from the local storage device to a machine learning model to generate the driving control command. According to the present invention, a structure and a space are integrated into a single intelligent space concept to freely form a structure in an intelligent space according to user′s needs.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
