Disclosed are a method to control optimization of a processing condition in a machine tool using acceleration of vibration, detecting a vibration signal generated from a tool during cutting process in a machine tool for processing a workpiece, and controlling a moving speed and a rotational speed based on the vibration signal, so as to reduce load with respect to a processing condition for processing the workpiece with a tool of a small diameter, thereby performing optimization control of the processing condition; and an apparatus thereof. According to the present invention, the system comprises: a workpiece processing unit to process a workpiece fixed in a main shaft rotated in accordance with rotation of a motor through a small diameter tool whose diameter is equal to or less than a predetermined reference; a vibrational acceleration sensor to detect a vibrational acceleration signal of the small diameter tool; a sensor operation unit to operate the vibrational acceleration sensor; a signal collection device to collect the vibrational acceleration signal detected through the vibrational acceleration sensor; a control unit filtering the vibrational acceleration signal collected in the signal collection device to calculate as processing information representing a processing state and calculating an optimal processing condition required for optimization control of the processing condition based on the processing information to transfer the optimal processing condition to a numeric controller (NC); and an input/output (I/O) module to transfer the optimal processing condition calculated in the control unit to the NC.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
