The present invention relates to a smart aquarium with an aquarium fish monitoring device, continuously observing movement of an aquarium fish inside an aquarium to generate monitoring data and performing learning about the movement of the aquarium fish based on the monitoring data, so as to automatically recognize whether or not the aquarium fish is abnormal and inform a manager of a recognition result. According to the present invention, the smart aquarium comprises: a storage unit (110) storing water flow detection data collected for a predetermined period; a water flow sensor (120) installed in the aquarium and detecting a water flow inside the aquarium to output the water flow detection data; a controller (130) comparing and analyzing before and after water flow detection signals detected and inputted by the water flow sensor (120) to output a photographing control signal when abnormal health of the aquarium fish is detected, receiving a photographed aquarium fish image inputted from the outside to analyze a movement state of the aquarium fish so as to detect whether or not the aquarium fish is abnormal, and providing a detection result to the outside; and a camera (140) photographing the inside of the aquarium in response to the photographing control signal of the controller (130) to provide the photographed aquarium fish image to the controller (130).
