The present invention relates to bisphosphites having 2,4-tert-butylphenyl units and to a preparation method thereof. In addition, the present invention relates to uses of compounds as ligands in ligand-metal complexes. The compounds, and also the complexes, can be used as a catalytically active composition in a hydroformylation reaction.
