The present invention relates to an electronic apparatus and, more specifically, to an electronic apparatus to acquire location information, capable of acquiring a location of a wearable electronic device, and a method thereof. To this end, the wearable electronic device comprises: a communication module; a memory; and at least one processor electrically connected to the communication module and the memory. When update of at least one piece of additional data required for acquiring location information is requested, the processor uses a first module included in the communication module to transmit a request for the update of the at least one piece of additional data to at least one neighboring electronic device related to the wearable electronic device. The processor receives the at least one piece of additional data through the first module in response to the request to determine validity thereof and uses the at least one piece of validated additional data to acquire location information of the electronic device through a second module included in the communication module.
