The present invention relates to a whirlpool bathtub system for a 4 dimension virtual reality experience and a method for driving the same, wherein a whirlpool function of a whirlpool bathtub and functions to realize image contents and sounds of an HMD device are interlocked with each other with a wired and wireless communication method in real time for a user to experience 4 dimension virtual reality through an image, a sound, touch, vibration, or the like. According to the present invention, the whirlpool bathtub system supports various contents for a user to select and experience virtual reality content images, and analyzes movement of an object and a background situation of a content image selected by the user in real time.
