The present invention relates to a composition including salvianolic acid B (Sal B) for prevention and treatment of oral diseases. More specifically, the quasi-drug composition is used to prevent and alleviate toothache, teeth sensitivity to the cold, and bad breath. According to the present invention, the composition has excellent antibacterial activities against dental caries and bacteria causing periodontal diseases, suppresses prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) used as a pain and inflammation marker in a concentration-dependent manner, has excellent effects of inhibiting gingivitis formation and teeth sensitivity to the cold while eliminating bad breath, and has high utility as a quasi-drug composition for the prevention or alleviation of one or more oral diseases selected from a group including toothache, teeth sensitivity to the cold, and bad breath.
