The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for operating a platform for incorporating a special purpose vehicle (SPV) based on intellectual property rights. The method includes the steps of: storing SPV incorporation reference information provided by an SPV certificate authority, together with jurisdiction information of the SPV certificate authority, receiving SPV incorporation request information including intellectual property rights information and jurisdiction information from an arbitrary terminal; calculating a valid value of the intellectual property rights information according to a previously stored validity-calculating index and comparing and evaluating the SPV incorporation request information with the SPV incorporation reference information corresponding to the jurisdiction, when the calculated valid value exceeds a preset reference and the comparison result satisfies the SPV incorporation reference information; transmitting the SPV incorporation request information to the SPV certificate authority; receiving a certification result from the SPV certificate authority; generating investment invitation information using the certification result and SPV incorporation request information according to the certification resu and storing the investment invitation information.
